Gross darkness is increasing upon the earth and especially upon our children. The spirit of death is manifesting over the young people more than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Recently, I was sharing the first chapter of John with a child. We were discussing that in Jesus there is LIFE and when Jesus comes into our lives, He is our LIGHT that guides us so we can see in the dark times.

I gave the scenario that if we are in a dark room, and someone turns on the light, the dark cannot overtake the light. The Word says in John 1:5, “And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.” So, the dark (Satan/death) cannot overtake the light (Jesus/life). Jesus is the LIFE, the LIGHT, and the WORD, and if we know the WORD, we have POWER over the dark.

The child looked at me and said, “But there are still SHADOWS!” I was silent for a moment and said, “Yes, that is true, the dark is still there because we are in a dark world.” However, the Word also says in Psalm 91, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY.” So, if you have turned the light on in your life by spending time in the secret place, then the shadow is God beside you and you do not have to fear.”

Spend some time sharing the Word with a child. Sadly, most know nothing about Him.
