However, the Bible teaches us that there is another option… An Appeal to Heaven: A Cry for Divine Justice. Jesus taught of this type of imprecatory prayer in the Parable of the Persistent Widow found in Luke 18:1-8. And shall God not avenge [bring justice to] His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Luke 18:7
